A special day of experiencing the joy of giving! Loved seeing the amazing, thoughtful creations made for peers! And we all loved our festive walk through the village to deliver our village gifts! 😍 @EducationMoray@willemsmit2020
Monday was Decoration Day! We had a fantastically festive morning, developing our craft skills. Many thanks to our parent volunteers and to Mackenzie & Cruickshank, Forres for donating our beautiful tree. 🎄@EducationMoray@willemsmit2020
It’s gift-giving day today where we all experience the joy of giving!
Pupils will exchange recycled homemade ‘Secret Santa’ gifts with and we will deliver a little gift to each house in the village. Listen out for us after 9am this morning! 🎶🎄@EducationMoray@willemsmit2020
Had fantastic time learning in the snow this week… tracking, building igloos/emergency shelters and learning how the snow acts as an insulator, snow-shoe designing, snow painting and creating bird feeders. Excitement and exploration! @willemsmit2020@EducationMoray
Last week we had a full village hall for our Tales and Tatties event! We hope everyone enjoyed our storytelling and homemade tattie soup! @EducationMoray@willemsmit2020
Over the past 2 weeks P1-7 have been creating a guy for the Forres bonfire. Their chosen design really has broken with tradition. Learners have worked together to build a dove to place on high and spread peace throughout the sky! 🕊️ @EducationMoray@EdScotLfS
Yesterday, we were joined by Forres Rotary to recognise World Polio Day. To help raise awareness of the disease we painted our finger nails purple, like the vaccinated children who have a purple mark on their finger following their vaccination. @EducationMoray
We are excited to share that Dallas Primary feature on the new Learning for Sustainability (LfS) page, now live on the Education Scotland website. Check out what we’ve been up to below… youtu.be/_X9-eZEs-uU@EducationMoray@willemsmit2020
Last night Dallas Primary School slept out to raise money and awareness of @ShelterBox - an international charity helping thousands of people displaced from their homes due to a natural disaster or conflict. #UNCRC@jencprice@EducationMoray
P1-7 showed amazing creativity by turning vegetables in to animals for the Grant Park100 ‘Vegetable Animal’ contest. I’ll be heading to the exhibition tent this afternoon at 4pm to see if we have any winners! 🤞@EducationMoray
A huge thanks to our Rotary and parent helpers who supported our learners to create a digestive biscuit for the future, drawing on the past. I think Sir Alexander Grant would have been very impressed with our biscuit designs! @EducationMoray
Our P1-7 pupils put their Bikeability skills to use and showed enthusiasm and aspiration as they tackled the hills on our annual cycle picnic! Thank you to all our parent helpers and to Dallas Estates 😀 @EducationMoray@OutfitMoray#LEARN
