Having gone to hundreds of games in my 46 years for all 3 teams I think it’s pretty simple. The Hawks and Falcons have really tried to sell their products as a social experience. You’ll see people in the bars and club sections all game and never go to their seats. The Braves market their product on the field. Not to say there isn’t the opportunity to enjoy the social aspects of the battery as well. It’s been my experience that most Brave fans go to watch the game. There are plenty of Hawks/Falcons fans who do as well.

Why do the Braves not have a problem with attendance in the beginning of games?
Getting into the Battery before a Braves game is bad if not worse than State Farm or Mercedes Benz Stadium
