When this is over, the western part of NATO will never be the same. Spain, England, France and Italy have sold us out, as they too often have a history of doing. Eastern European nations are the heart of NATO. They spend money on defense, know how to fight and love the US. France particularly deserves fault and blame. From supporting China and Russia at the UN to denying Americans overflight rights, they’re doing what they’ve always done - showing weakness, while cutting deals with terrorists. (The reason the US has a Marine Corps and Navy is unlike France, we refused to pay a ransom to the Barbary Pirates. France is always happy to cut a deal.) Wars have unintended consequences as nations show their true colors. NATO will never be the same, and Western European weakness and acquiescence is the cause.

In the future, there will be three major powers in the world: China, USA, EU. Neutral countries will move as much as possible towards the EU as their preferred partner because both China and the USA treat other countries disrespectfully and try to extort them. Europe will be the only great power and market to turn to if you want to have an equal and fair relationship. Canada is already moving towards Europe for this exact reason. India and Japan will also form a closer relationship with Europe. This is what soft power means. MAGA replies in the comment section will prove the point.

We need to stop limiting deportation to recent arrivals, and start looking at the impact of their community as a whole, on our country.

There is no good reason for these youths or their negligent parents to be here. They cannot be "integrated" in any meaningful sense. The behaviour is the same in America, Japan, Jamaica... London is not better for being turned into Nigeria, South Africa, or the Congo. Their imprisonment will just impose another needless cost on the taxpayer. They should be encouraged or made to leave instead.

As a European, I am not afraid that the USA will leave NATO. We already know that they do not have good intentions to Europe and that we, therefore, have to build our defence to be able to fight without the Americans. We are well on our way and it will happen a lot faster if the USA leaves NATO officially. Russia is too weak and small to be a long term threat to Europe. They simple can not match what we can produce. As long as we keep Ukraine from falling, Russia is also not a threat to us in the short term. So if the USA leaves NATO, it is simple for us: Keep Ukraine from falling at all costs and build up European defence and weapon production as fast as humanly possible. We can and we will do that and Europe will be absolutely fine and safe.

@bratricek We should militarise, not because of the Americans, but because we could sell to our allies and be self sufficient rather than dependent. UK dry docks for example if we engaged in huge ship building endeavours would turn profit.

@OFatOne123 @Alex_Oloyede2 Financially, technologically and definitely military the US and to a lesser extent the Chinese are far beyond the EU. Europeans militarily are currently an embarrassment, my own country in terms of the UK absurdly so. Autarky creates strong countries, not globalism.
