If you’re a struggling comedian.. seemingly lost on the road, playing some club with a wacky name that offers temp residence in a comedy condo with a couch Dennis Wolfberg probably crashed on during the comedy boom.. congrats.. you’re exactly where you are suppose to be.
It’s the hard road dog years alone and lonely that all add up later. Listen not everyone is meant for the big time kid.. but just the part where you’re up there doing it is where the accomplishment already lives. Hone the craft.. use the time alone to carve out your true honest identity. Define your personal constitution. Fall in love with every crowd and then leave them in the middle of the night for some other stage and show. Journal it all.. each day. At least one line about who you are.. where you are.. how you see the world or how you think it sees you. Do this and it leads you to your own personal finish line. Just remember to throw a sheet over that couch before you crash on it. Godspeed.

RIP Kiki Shepard
I grew up watching Showtime at the Apollo and episode after episode Kiki Shepard was always there to usher you towards your dream or sometimes show you the exit but there was always - from my couch seat - love in her heart. Her impact on comedy culture was huge. Condolences to all who loved her! So so many.

So proud to be a part of Lorne’s legacy. Our chats especially in his NY office are some of the most impactful of my life and career. Talkin’ shop with the guy that literally opened the shop!

Hey @elonmusk -- thoughts -- via Grok:
"NY Senate Bill S7263 (advanced from committee 6-0 last week) makes AI chatbot operators liable for damages if their bot gives "substantive response, information, or advice" in licensed professions like medicine, law, dentistry, nursing, psychology, social work, engineering & more—anything that'd be unauthorized practice if done by a human. Requires clear AI notice, but it doesn't protect from suits."

The entire restaurant is fold out tables and rickety chairs. In the back corner is a table of producers, actors and that one lone crew member taking swear bucket bets. On the way out everyone yawns and thanks the chef as they toss their uneaten stale chocolate chip cookie into a grey barrel lined with a black trash bag.

I must have watched Revenge of the Nerds hundreds of times with it hit Home Box Office as a teenager. Robert as the character Lewis just brought that character to life - you rooted for the underdog. RIP.
Clap your hands everybody and everybody clap your hands we’re lambda lambda lambda and omega mu.

I’m excited for @asha_shar as she steps into the CEO role. She’s joining an incredible group of people; teams full of talent, heart, and a deep commitment to the players they serve. Watching her lean in with curiosity and a real desire to strengthen the foundation we've built gives me confidence that our Xbox communities will be well supported in the years ahead.

It’s rare in life to know when a chapter is closing, but after 38 years at Microsoft, that moment has arrived for me. I’ve made the decision to retire and begin the next chapter of my life. It’s a milestone that’s given me a chance to reflect on the incredible journey I’ve been fortunate enough to share with so many of you.
