The Israeli military’s top general suspended all operational activities of the reserve battalion involved in my team's detention & assault. The reserve battalion, comprised of hundreds of reservists who served in the ultra-Orthodox Netzah Yehuda battalion, will be immediately withdrawn from the West Bank and reassigned to training until further notice. “Pure joy in the air” is how an Israeli journalist describes the mood in Israel right now. But how could that be? If the Israelis want, above all, genocide and ethnic cleansing, then why would they celebrate a deal that ends the war with no ethnic cleansing and 97% of the Gazans alive? “Pure joy” is not what you feel when your deepest ambitions have just been thwarted. It’s almost as if the goal of the war really was to get the hostages back and oust Hamas. It’s almost as if Israelis are motivated by a deep, dark desire to…live in peace with their neighbors.

The "Genocide Scholars" will never admit that the war would end if Hamas would release the hostages and relinquish power. After all, if the real intention is to "destroy a people," why would it matter if hostages were released or a regime was changed? This paints them into the far-fetched corner of pretending that the was in Gaza has nothing to do with Hamas or hostages.

I spent the first two and a half weeks of June in Tel Aviv, including the beginning of the war with Iran - and that’s exactly how it felt. Israeli resilience is difficult to understand. To those making comments about diversity: take a closer look. You see here Israelis from every background - North African, European, Arab descent. There are 168,000 Jews of Ethiopian descent out of a population of 10 million. What you witness is the vibrancy of Tel Aviv: open, diverse, young, hard working and hard partying.

Don’t believe the Israeli propaganda about one-third of Tel Aviv being destroyed. It’s much worse: the scenes of destruction and chaos in Tel Aviv are beyond description. The surviving population staggers through the rubble in a zombie-like daze, desperately searching for a morsel to eat amid the post-apocalyptic hellscape. Some are even throwing themselves into the sea, apparently preferring their chances against the sharks to facing the marauding gangs of cannibals that now roam the streets, preying on the weak as Zionism collapses.

Don't be fooled, Israel is in worse shape then people think. About 1/3 of Tel Aviv has been damaged or destroyed. As far as their military installations are concerned, I'm told many Israeli aircraft's are being flown to Cyprus to avoid being struck. Israel was not prepared for Iran's response.
