when I was broke and releasing my bands debut LP we got asked to open KIT on 6 weeks notice. We were offered enough money to cover a single flight. We opened up a preorder campaign for the album, had shirts printed to pick up at the fest and made our fucking $$ back. fuck you.

@Allie_In_Chains Sadly this is the opinion of so many of the older bands. I feel this attitude and perception keeps younger bands down and clips their wings a bit. It would be great if the established old guard took new bands out and passed the torch to keep the scene they birthed growing.
