I genuinely believe people who like this scene from The Last Jedi are stupid. It speaks volumes of ''Who cares if this is an abomination to the lore and doesn't make sense because at least I think it looks cool!'' I've never seen a valid reason for why shills like this shit.

I'm ready to admit that we did NOT need a Season 7 of The Clone Wars. There's a lot I didn't like about what they did in Season 7 and I would've been more than fine if it didn't exist.

The first line spoken in Star Wars the Force Awakens and spoiler alert, this did not make things right JJ and it never was going to. The Sequel Trilogy is a disaster.

In Light & Magic, ILM model shop artist Fon Davis talks about the decision to portray all the clone troopers in Attack of the Clones with CGI: "I remember all of us pretty much, except for George Lucas, thought that we should do the clone troopers as actors in costumes.... Everyone fought for it. And George was very dead set on doing that with performance capture." According to Davis, VFX supervisor John Knoll pushed Lucas so hard on this that Lucas eventually told him, "We're going to do the clones with mo-cap, and that's the end of it. I don't want to hear another word." If you've seen what the practical clone troopers look like in more recent Star Wars media, it should have convinced you that George Lucas was 100% correct in his judgment. The practical clones look like shambling cosplayers. The CG clones in the prequels look better and move more convincingly.

I was an adult when both the PT and ST were released so have no nostalgic attachment to either. I can tell you definitively that - when viewed objectively - the Sequel Trilogy is a SIGNIFICANTLY better series of films than the Prequels.
