I'm gonna keep on dancing on the way to the Moon🎵 Today, the Artemis II crew woke up to "Pink Pony Club" by Chappell Roan.

Lock in, we’re Moonbound. Artemis II astronauts are more than halfway to their destination, and preparations for lunar flyby are underway. During their trip around the far side of the Moon, they will capture imagery to share with scientists (and you, too!).

Artemis II has just successfully launched, and humans are now on their way back to the moon! However, how is Artemis III progressing? The SRBS are already in transit, and the rest of the core with the RS-25s is expected to arrive this month! NET 2027 is the launch date!

even tho Congress will likely not agree to the lower amount.. this just shows its gonna be every year now, both fy2028 and 29 will be lowered amounts to cut science.

BTW this is also partially Jareds fault too, ik he's the golden child buuuut going on multiple interviews saying you think you can accomplish the same with a lower budget- (even tho you know that a 100% even, across the board funding lower is not at all likely, and a targeted attack on NASA Science is 100% likely) -is a stupid thing to say publicly as administrator of trhe agency...

also this is a huge spit in Jared face, Jared has just been on a month long campaign to turn Artemis into a Moon base focused programn for enormous scientific and economic gain, just for Trump to instead push for Artemis to be a Boots on The Moon and leave program the only thing is, as much as we dog on Congress, they do care for NASA and fairly unanimously dislike when Trump tries to kill NASA so this likely won't pass
