@MoreLimitless_ No no no, they just know what REAL final fantasy is. They’re the REAL fans.

The way some Final Fantasy fans be with action combat would make you think they’re either allergic to it or have never touched an action game in their life

@MoreLimitless_ It's not that. It's that Final Fantasy has a long history of being one way, and we're not exactly thrilled with that being changed. I like action combat fine enough in other games. I don't want it in my Final Fantasy. That's not why I play Final Fantasy.

@DavidBi05790010 @RealBaoZakeruga I won’t lie, I do want a classic Tales game in the vein of Abyss, Vesperia, or Xillia again. But I also recognize that Tales of Arise is the new best-selling game in the series, so it makes sense to build off of it.

@RealBaoZakeruga I don’t mind…provided they actually do it right unlike Tales of Zestiria. When done right, open world games are a lot of fun. When they are open for the sake of it like Zestiria was, then it becomes a slog. I liked Zestiria, but it is a guilty pleasure.

@Kougayon @Andy_G_Rhodes And what exactly has he been doing since automata? It's been 7 years and very little has been done to the series. I say let someone else take head who isn't greedy

@Andy_G_Rhodes The point is that people shouldn’t act rude to Yoko Taro over this. It’s fine to want something, but don’t be insufferable.

We're winning. DAV has fallen. Dragon Age Veilguard has failed to recover it's costs. It has failed and no, holiday sales won't save it. Bioware is so angry that Dragon Age Veilguard sales numbers have leaked, that they are launching an internal investigation to find the leakers. Here's what we know from @EndymionYT, @SmashJT, @RealHypnotic1 and others: - Concurrent players have dropped off the charts just 2 weeks in, sitting at a peak of 34,068 vs their launch weekend high of 89,418. A 62% drop before the month even closes. - Returns are rumored to be 30,000 copies, and the game is being traded in at Gamestop so fast that used copies of the game are flooded and being discounted with a trade-in value of only $14 cash. By comparison, Stellar Blade, a much smaller IP and many months older than DAV is $16.10 cash, which shows you just how bad DAV's value has dropped. Fun fact: Star Wars Outlaws is even worse, at just $11.90 cash. Stellar Blade wins again. - Total sales for DAV have only JUST crested 1 million copies in 2 weeks. Budget is rumored to be at 250-300M for the game, making it fall well short of breaking even. If you take most games sales profit at around 70-80% of list price (after store markups and digital platform fees), a 300M budget would need around 6-7 million copies sold. (this is where I differ from most other's estimates who say 4-5M). Dragon Age Veilguard has failed. They will see a tiny surge in sales in Holidays but not much. Total copies will barely reach 2M by next year (unless they start just giving it away - expect heavy discounts and bundles to make this number seem bigger than it is). Gamers have rejected the heavy handed woke, preachy politics for one, and DA fans have rejected the new graphics and action oriented gameplay, which feel very alien to the franchise. You can do diversity right, without preachy HR lectures disguised as a story, and you can do it very very wrong, like DAV. We're winning. Everybody fights, everybody builds, nobody quits! Sources: Gamestop website, Steam DB, insider leak videos from Smash and Endymion and Hypnotic retail data and my own industry experience publishing, operating and developing AAA games.

I will say if the next Trails game really is 2 years away, I do wish they had added more post game content to the Grim Garten in Kai like Kuro 2 got. Just adding extra floors would have been enough for me.

Metaphor is not trying to be a Persona game. Metaphor is not tying to be a SMT game. Metaphor takes the best aspects of Persona, the best of SMT, and throws them into a classic high fantasy setting. Once again I think Atlus craft fantastic experience with Metaphor

@CultureCrave @RollingStone I have absolutely no confidence in Mass Effect 5 after what they did to Dragon Age. which makes me fucken sad, because now my hype is dead for this, i wouldn't be surprised if this is worse than Andromeda.

Hey everyone, We have our first patch for #DragonAge: The Veilguard coming later this week to all platforms! This patch will include some bug fixes, minor balance changes, and some crash mitigations. Full Patch Notes will be available with the patch! Some examples include: - Fixed an issue where some customizations were not applied to the Inquisitor correctly in one scene. - Fixed an issue where DLSS options could end up “grayed-out” on a 40-series Nvidia GPU. (PC only) - Fixed an issue that caused Companion Skill Points to reset.

Alot of the people that told you for months Dragon Age: The Veilguard was part of this huge Wokeness infection that is making the gaming industry bad, are now playing and creating content for the game- expanding its reach and possible sales. Hypocrites.

It just really wouldnt make any sense during the final arc for it to start with some character who is just living a normal life in Leman or Ored and gets drawn into this crazy conflict. Every game in the final arc will probably be route games following Estelle/Lloyd/Rean/Van etc

@The_Kiseki_Nut Until they manage to create a new successful franchise I think it's very unlikely that trails will reach an end, unfortunately Falcom nowadays is just Trails and YS,And Ys alone would not be able to carry the company
