For me, Donovan Clingan has separated himself as a top-3 performer from the 2024 NBA Draft Class. My tiers go something like...
Tier 1: Castle, Clingan, Sarr
Tier 2: Sheppard, George, Edey
Tier 3: Buzelis, Wells, Ware
Then the rest of the field. Am I missing anyone obvious?

Oh wow. It's actually @clingan_donovan's birthday today. I'd forgotten. He's officially 22. I post about his statistics pretty frequently, but obviously people are more than numbers and should be celebrated for more than basketball. Happy birthday, big guy.

Donovan Clingan may be shooting 33.3% from deep on the season, but he's even better than that. Compare where he started vs. where he is now.
October: 23.5% (2.8 attempts per game)
February: 45.9% (4.1 attempts per game)
Hot streak? Sure. But, he's also developing into a sniper.

On a Donovan Clingan note, I know it's early and call me an optimist, but I see his career statistical peak somewhat mirroring Gobert's the year he won his 2nd DPOY (15.9 pts, 12.9 trb, 2.3 blk). I really think he can get there. Same defense? No. But still elite rim protection.

The Philadelphia 76ers intend to sign forward Jabari Walker to a new two-year contract, sources tell ESPN. 76ers and Klutch Sports' Rich Paul and Anthony Fields negotiated the new deal for Walker, who earned a rotation role after maxing out the games allowed on his two-way deal.

I haven't been to the NBA All-Star Game since 2014. Wasn't competitive, but still awesome to see Kyrie, LeBron, PG, Melo, DWade vs. KD, Love, Griffin, Steph, Harden. And everyone else, of course. Let kids have that experience.

Rather than failing to find ways to make the NBA All-Star Game competitive again, just make the current product accessible to those who would enjoy it most. Reserve at least half of the seats for underserved kids in the community. They just want to see their favorite hoopers.

Do you think the San Antonio Spurs can overtake the Oklahoma City Thunder for the No. 1 spot in the West by season's end? They're only 3.0 games behind, and OKC is 18-13 since Chris Finch blew up at the officials back in December. Games seem to be called more evenly since.

Every Scoot Henderson stat gets the sample size caveat, but I want to note that he's shooting 80% at the rim, 75% on 2pt shots in general, and averaging 10.2 FTA per 36 minutes. He's starting to look like the downhill scorer we all hoped he'd be. Very comfortable in traffic.
