Lucas dropped off the script in his dressing room. Guinness thought the script was ass but recognized Lucas' name as the young upstart who did American Graffiti and he basically did it on a lark to support a young person he knew had potential.

Maybe it’s because the Islamic government imposed on Iranians after a Mullah named Khomeini stole the 1979 revolution placed Mullahs in charge of Iran’s regime at pretty much every level.

@katrosenfield The scene in which they meet in Shrill is burned in my brain. He was doing stand-up and she heckled him because he said something she deemed unacceptable. He fell in love on the spot. This whole polyamory thing is awful but that is the most perverse thing he ever did.
