1968 Dodge Coronet R/T — No. 3 of 22 Built at the L.A. Plant, and Every Document Still With It.
10,900 Coronet R/Ts were built in 1968.
This one is No. 3 of 22 produced in sequence at the Los Angeles assembly plant as a 440/4-barrel 2-door hardtop. That sequence number is documented. So is everything else.
The Chrysler Registry has this car on file. Two laminated broadcast sheets came with it — the factory build documents that record every option ordered on the day the car was assembled. The laminated window sticker is original. So is the purchase agreement, the Certicard, and the owner's manual.
The 440 cubic inch Magnum V8 is correct. The 727 TorqueFlite 3-speed automatic is correct. The 8¾ rear end carries 3.23 gears. The body panels are original. The rotisserie restoration brought everything back to the standard the factory intended.
