Now watching Highlander for the first time in my life, somehow. I think I'm the last fortysomething dude to see it.

I know I probably shouldn't be, but I'm quite fond of the cover art for this 1966 Tandem collection of John W. Campbell's short stories, including 'Who Goes There!', adapted into Howard Hawks' The Thing from Another World (1951) and John Carpenter's The Thing (1982). #horror

The beauty of having an entire remodeling project to yourself is yourself, zero machismo, zero destructive pride, zero chain smoking, zero every ten minute shits, zero stop every 5 minutes to laugh at some idiot YouTube clip, zero attitude, just me my skillset and Leonard Cohen.

@DeadGeographies I really struggle between this and The Reflecting Skin as my favourite vampire flick. It might depend on the time of the year: Winter=The Addiction/ Summer=The Reflecting Skin.

'Bram Stoker's Dracula' is a fantastic movie, but The Addiction is the greatest vampire movie of the 90s (followed closely by The Reflecting Skin).

I just finished watching Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation and I hate to say it, but I’m gonna have to disagree with Joe Bob on this one. It isn’t just the best horror movie of the 90s, it’s the best movie of the 90s full stop

On March 12, 1995 “The Return of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” later re-released as Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation premiered at South by Southwest! written, co-produced, and directed by Kim Henkel in his directorial debut.
