Yesterday, the Justice Development and Peace Makers Centre (@jdpmcosogbo1) convened its annual Ọ̀sun State Administration of Criminal Justice Law Stakeholders Meeting at the Catholic Chancery Facility in Òṣogbo. The gathering brought together key actors across the justice sector, including representatives from the judiciary, law enforcement agencies, correctional services, civil society organisations, and the legal community. The meeting served as a vital platform to review the implementation of the Administration of Criminal Justice Law (ACJL) in Ọ̀sun State, assess progress made, and identify persistent challenges affecting justice delivery. Discussions centered on strengthening collaboration among stakeholders, improving adherence to the provisions of the ACJL, and enhancing accountability within the criminal justice system. Participants also shared insights on practical reforms needed to ensure speedy dispensation of justice, protect human rights, and build public trust in the system. The meeting reaffirmed a collective commitment to advancing a more efficient, transparent, and people-centered justice system in Ọ̀sun State. #InsideOsogbo
