I have no control over most things in life. My bpd rage is one of the worst things I feel I have absolutely no control over. Its so blinding and explosive and destructive. It comes so unexpectedly and controlling something that goes from 0 to 60 in seconds feels impossible

I dont know who needs to see this, but the power and control wheel is a powerful tool to recognize the types of abuse you may be experiencing. As a #domesticviolence survivor, this opened my eyes to some things that happened to me. I didnt realize they were ways to control me.

I dont need therapy, I need to see the men who hurt me suffer

Imo, this is extremely valid. If they wont engage in activities knowing it will make you happy, what makes you think they'll do it later? Like buying flowers without asking. Its an act of service, a thoughtful loving gesture. A form of love language they refused to participate in

No amount of self help motivation seems to help my extreme rage and easily irritability. Im just angry all the time. And its explosive and I burn bridges.

Bpd is so embarrassing Wdym i become so obsessed with someone that everything they do affects me? Wdym im so overcome with rage at the stupidest things? Wdym i am so numb ill do ridiculous shit to feel something? Wdym i grieve every inconvenience 100s of times a day?

There's not enough room to explain all of my mother's lore, but to summarize, she wont get professional help bc she traumatized me and set me up to be traumatized in every way she was.

Believe it or not having BPD and being a functioning part of society is possible at the same time. Recovery and relapses are part of healing. Getting better is not linear. Being a failure today doesnt mean my BPD is unmanaged. We exist and we are constantly working on ourselves

BPD numbness is more dangerous than the explosive rage for me I will go to unsafe lengths to FEEL something. I will self sabatoge & ruin my life. I will binge & relapse. I will come terrifyingly close to the edge, bc fear, pain, & euphoria are more manageable than the numbness
