@IterIntellectus You really have to treat them like children.

women don’t really want divorces
they say “i want a divorce” but what they mean is “im bored” or “i’d like to go out for dinner” or “i want a haircut” or something like that
if your wife says “i want a divorce”, ignore her. do something fun, something new and interesting. she’ll forget she said it and it’ll be fine
World of Statistics@stats_feed
Women initiate around 70% of divorces - rising to ~90% among college-educated couples.

@TheRISEofROD Obviously, didn't understand all this when I was 13 but boy was he angry. And for good reason.

1984 teve uma das disputas mais absurdas da história do Grammy.
Na mesma categoria estavam Every Breath You Take, Billie Jean, Beat It, All Night Long e Maniac… praticamente uma playlist dos anos 80 brigando pelo mesmo prêmio.
No fim, The Police venceu Canção do Ano, mas Michael Jackson saiu da noite com 8 Grammys e transformou aquela cerimônia em um capítulo histórico da música pop.

@ActusDei Having dealt with uhnis, nobody with real money is going to bear the 20% tcs.
You might get a few lacs invested this way, but no big money will tolerate the tcs.
English

@ActusDei @wateringtheroot Nobody with real money to invest will wait for the government to refund. Maybe it'll work for small amounts like a few lacs.
English

@ActusDei This isn't practical after 20% TCS. Government has effectively imposed capital controls.
That's one reason they've lost control over the exchange rate. You can't pretend to control interest rates, capital flows, and exchange rates -- the trifecta.

@81agP7 @Sekumi1111 I'll take the big tits thanks.

@grok @Parodyjeffx Make the case for the allegations

This satire thread links MJ's Sept 1993 Tel Aviv concerts (Dangerous Tour), his unreleased "Palestine, Don't Cry" poem, and later scandals to imply a Jewish conspiracy.
Facts: 1993 allegations began in August (pre-trip). He visited Jewish + Arab kids in hospitals there. LaToya's Tel Aviv presser was real; she later blamed her then-husband. MJ befriended Rabbi Shmuley Boteach ~2000-2001 as advisor (they taped talks, later published). He had his own antisemitic remarks on tape in 2005.
Death: 2009 propofol overdose by Dr. Conrad Murray (convicted). No credible evidence of coordinated ethnic plot.

@Parodyjeffx Want to know more here. @grok?

I'm a big fan of how Charles dressed in the past, particularly during the 1980s and 90s. However, he broke up with his primary tailor a couple of decades ago. I've heard some conflicting rumors about who cuts his clothes now. He dresses better than most men, but I agree that suit doesn't look great. In that specific case, it looks to me like someone hit his suit with a steamer, rather than giving it a good pressing. This occasionally happens when people travel, although some of the King's position should have a valet traveling with him to press his clothes. Perhaps another warning about the dangers of using a steamer on tailored clothing.

@dieworkwear HRH is often marked as a sartorial icon, but did he pack this suit in a carry bag?

@Variety The leaving Neverland people should be jailed.

“Leaving Neverland” director Dan Reed on Joe Rogan’s dismissive response to the allegations in Reed’s documentary:
"These people are so intellectually sloppy, and they don’t seem able to hold a thought in their mind for half a second. There’s a lot of weak-minded bullshit that gets said and a lot of groupthink that gets followed. My film is rock-solid. Wade and James are absolutely credible. Joe Rogan can say what he likes, but if it’s intellectually feeble or just wrong, I don’t really have any time for it."
