Kraken’s email and the other notices from WAR were misleading and confusing. However I moved my WAR *after* snapshot so now my coins are worthless. Wish someone could help, just scammers here

@ShannonXdev It says I am ineligible. Unfortunately I should have left my coins in Kraken, they’re doing migration. The emails and messages were confusing, didn’t realize I should have left them in my Kraken account. Now it appears my WAR is basically worthless and I don’t know what to do.

@waronusd1 I’m trying to do the migration, I had $War on my kraken account, on the migration link it asked to connect a wallet and gave several options, so I moved it to Coinbase wallet today. Connected it. But now it’s saying I’m not eligible. Is there anything I can do? Thanks

@kas2993 @thelowsoshow @OnlyInBOS It’s not spread out over 1 year it’s spread out over every year you’re there. When the owner pays the Fee they raise the rent by about 10-15%, after the 1st year they *do not* lower the rent. In 5 years you’re paying 5 fees. 1 to the agent and 4 to the landlord.

Governor Maura Healey today announced that her Fiscal Year 2026 budget proposal will include an outside section to eliminate renter-paid broker fees. The proposal will require the fee to be paid by whoever hires the broker, which is usually the landlord.

When labor costs go up for maintenance people, the tenants pay it. When the city has new fees on landlords, the tenants pay it. Raising costs on landlords raises rent.

Unless you feel that labor/liability shouldn’t be compensated fairly. Name anything and I’ll tell you how the consumer pays it. No one is working for free

@OnlyInBOS Incorrect. The overwhelming majority of individual Boston landlords do *not* hire Agents. They do, however, usually only accept paperwork prepared by properly licensed brokers representing the tenants. There are some exceptions of course.
