My only current complaint about Marathon is that the knife needs to be nerfed, it’s not exactly fun when a knife can kill you in two hits even with green shields, especially in solo play when an assassin sneaks up behind you, lands two hits, and that’s it, you’re done for.

@nise_yoshimi Had a run on dire marsh yesterday where I spawned in with an outland and proceeded to 1 shot 3 different sponsored kit players like 5 minutes in lmfao, I think so many people just don't think about snipers on that map

About half an hour after tweeting this I went on dire marsh and got shot in the head and instantly killed

perimeter run: delightful Station sojourn with the girlies or someone will home alone your ass in Hauler
dire marsh run: shot in the head from five hundred metres. instantly killed
outpost run: As usual, this is a one-man infiltration mission. Weapons and equipment are OSP

Seeing Loadouts or Vaults this stacked is absolutely insane. Like really, GfknG to every single Runner out there who can put in that kind of grind in this game when it hasn’t even been out for a month yet.
I hope I can get to that point one day too. That has to feel so damn good.
And even if the Road there will probably take longer for me than for others, that’s totally fine. That’s exactly why I love this game.
Remember it’s #Marathon not a Sprint.

@Tedd_zero And the fun thing about Marathon is that you want other players to succeed because that means more chances for you to find their success on their dead body and take it for yourself lmfao. I like the hardcore approach vs the malaise that became of 85% of all D2 content

Do you want a meaningful endgame that certain people will choose to overcome, and therefore make the difficulty of it lucrative for ambitious players? A genuine goal to achieve?
Or another unambitious strike map that becomes routine?
You cant have both without losing something.

to clarify, I think that the concept of the content is good and pretty wild, but is it good in terms of drawing players to the game or engaging 95% of the existing base? Ehhhh
