We need to get away from celebrating coaches with a history of breaking athletes. We wouldn't accept if from a Doctor... "Sure you lost 8 out of 10 patients, but those other 2, best suturing I've ever seen!" No, they'd lose their license due to negligence. And that's what it amounts to... * Lack of athlete monitoring * Lack of individualized programming * A lack of basic smarts. Negligence. Sport should be no different.

Intimidating people who are in desperate circumstances isn’t protest

I was 10 years a public rep and am 20 years an activist, advocating for public housing, struggling to help constituents find housing and demanding real policy responses to the crises. None of these figures popping up at anti-migrant protests have ever lifted a finger to help.
