FINAL (Thurs) Trojans 8 Greensburg Salem 6 John Wasnick went 3-4 with a double and 4 RBIs. Cason Long and Mason Fridley each added 2 hits. Long worked 1 1/3 scoreless innings of relief to earn the win for DA.

FINALS from Mon/Tues Burrell 8 Trojans 2 Burrell 12 Trojans 7 Roman Fridley & Anthony Sacco each had 2 hits including a double in the first game. Max Doherty collected 3 hits and 2 RBIs in the second. Derry hosts Greensburg Salem Thursday.

The Trojans lose a pair of games to Deer Lakes 9-8 and 9-2. Roman Fridley collected two hits, including a double, drove in a run and scored a run in game one. Cason Long went 3-for-4 with an RBI and run scored in the second game.

FINAL Trojans 5 Freeport 2 (9 inn.) Derry scores 3 runs in the top of the 9th inning for the win. Collin Barkley had 2 hits, including a double, and 2 RBIs. Cason Long tossed 6 2/3 shutout innings of relief allowing just one hit and 7 K’s. DA (2-1) hosts East Allegheny Tues.

FINAL Trojans 9 Freeport 6 Colin Bush went 2-4 with 4 RBIs. Anthony Sacco and Mason Fridley also added 2 hits. Roman Fridley doubled and scored 3 runs. Nate Papuga was the winning pitcher. Cason Long threw 3 scoreless innings of relief. The teams will play again tomorrow.

FINAL Serra Catholic 6 Trojans 2 Cason Long, Brady Angus and Colin Bush each had 2 hits for Derry. Angus and Bush drove each drove in a run. DA will play Freeport Monday.
