Today, I complete 3 years of my entrepreneurial journey with @partners_primus. It has been a wonderful journey with a bunch of amazing co-founders and colleagues. It has been a roller coaster ride with ups and downs, but extremely fulfilling. We started off during uncertain times plagued with the pandemic, but that enabled us to innovate, be agile and always be prepared for anything that crops up. From a humble beginning we now have 6 offices, a whole gamut of marque clients in private and public sector and nearly 200 employees. We are today working in 12+ States in India, as well as executing projects abroad. Grateful to everyone, including clients and employees, who believed in us. Thankful for every opportunity that we got, as well as the ones which eluded us as it gave us immense learnings. As we move to another year, only thing in my mind is gratitude for everything that has happened so far and unwavering passion and commitment to do more. I strongly believe the time for Indian firms have come. The next few decades belong to India and I remain very optimistic about the future of the Indian consulting industry and our firm. Here is the Mumbai team together (many missing, as they were away for client meetings and project work) for a lunch on 31st March to remember the year gone by and prepare for the next year. @VarmaNilaya @itsmeaarti

On this day, 111 years ago, Mahatma Gandhi met Rabindranath Tagore for the first time at Santiniketan. It was the beginning of a lifetime friendship, where their huge admiration for each other did not stop them from disagreeing with the others views. After a devastating earthquake in Bihar in 1934, Gandhi called the calamity a divine chastisement for the great sin committed against Harijans. Tagore totally disagreed, noting that if that was the case human nature was morally superior to any divine power, for for no civilised ruler of men would make such an indiscriminate example of casual victims. They also disagreed famously on puris, with Gandhiji declaring friend puris as slow poison, and Tagore riposting with the fact that it must be really slow as he had been eating puris or luchis all his life. Tagore once rushed across the country to Gandhi's bedside imploring him to break his fast in Yervada jail, and in their final meeting in 1940, beseeched him to look after Santiniketan. As a biographer once remarked, had one of them been a little less great, they would have fallen out. But they never did, and that's the legacy we inherited.

𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 — 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐌𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐡 At the 𝐃𝐃𝐀 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐨 2026, Davinder Sandhu, Co-founder and Chairman, Primus Partners, joined Dr. Sony Pellissery, Director of the Institute of Public Policy, National Law School of India University, Bengaluru and Ms. Shubhi Kesarwani, Co-Founder & CEO, GuruJal in a panel moderated by Mr. Nikhil Dhar, Program Chair, Dept. of Landscape Architecture, IES College of Architecture to examine how ecological preservation can be reconciled with urban growth — particularly in sensitive zones such as floodplains and reserved forests. A key insight from the discussion was the importance of grounding development in respect for ecological systems, local communities, and public consensus. As Mr. Davinder Sandhu articulated, sustainable urban projects must be shaped through meaningful community participation: when local stakeholders are engaged in the design and decision-making process, environmental sustainability becomes more durable and contextually informed. #PrimusPartners #DDAGreenExpo2026 #DevelopmentVsConservation #SustainableGrowth #UrbanFutures

#PrimusAtUnPollute I It began not with policy frameworks or projections, but with stories — stories of women leading change in their neighbourhoods, waste workers building dignified livelihoods, and communities quietly shaping climate solutions from the ground up. The session “𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲: 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝” brought together leaders from grassroots movements, social enterprises, and ESG advisory. Moderated by 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐌𝐞𝐡𝐫𝐚, 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫, 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐌𝐞𝐡𝐭𝐚 & 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬, panel featured: - Pooja Lahri, VP – ESG, Primus Partners - Shekar Prabhakar, Co-Founder & CEO HasiruDala Innovations - Dr. Ruby Makhija, Founder & Director, Why Waste Wednesdays Foundation - 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐊𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐫, National Convener, Parmarth Samaj Sevi Sansthan What emerged was a powerful reminder: climate action often begins in homes, streets, and informal networks — long before it reaches boardrooms. The discussion highlighted when communities are equipped with skills, digital tools, and a sense of ownership, adaptation becomes practical, scalable, and sustainable. The central takeaway was clear: climate solutions cannot be imposed from the outside. They must be rooted in local realities, led by local communities, and designed to create lasting value. #PrimusAtUnPollute #ClimateAction #ESG #Sustainability #ClimateResilience #WomenInClimate #CircularEconomy #SocialImpact

Our in-depth analysis of the Budget with views of 30+ experts.
Primus Partners Pvt Ltd@partners_primus

#BudgetWithPrimus | 𝐉𝐎𝐁𝐒, 𝐉𝐎𝐁𝐒, 𝐉𝐎𝐁𝐒: 𝐀 𝐏𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐌𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐔𝐃𝐆𝐄𝐓⁣ At the end of the day, the future of India hinges not on slogans or headlines, but on how innovation reaches middle India and small businesses, how people participate in the AI-driven creative economy, and how the economic ecosystem enables them to thrive and compete.⁣ While some announcements may not stand out as headline-grabbing, the Budget contains decisions that will define future opportunities.⁣ Key announcements reinforce this direction. Through targeted support for MSMEs, the government highlights their vital role in job creation and GDP growth. Investments in creative and digital sectors such as AVGC reflect the evolving nature of work and the rise of knowledge-based industries. A renewed emphasis on tourism and services seeks to generate employment beyond manufacturing, while measures to protect domestic industries amid geopolitical and trade uncertainties demonstrate a pragmatic approach to global challenges. Overall, these strategies position the Budget as one that prioritises strengthening productivity and competitiveness over consumption-led growth.⁣ The Primus Budget Report examines the Budget not only through sectors, but through people. It brings together perspectives from 24 voices representing the aspirations of Viksit Bharat @2047, including industry leaders such as Smt. @smritiirani , Former Union Minister; Mr Piyush Arora, Managing Director, @SkodaIndia @volkswagenindia ; Mr Nishant Arya, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, @JBMAuto ; Dr Ashwin Fernandes (@ashwinjf ), Executive Director, @QSCorporate ; and Mr Patrick Smets, CEO, @submertech , as well as parliamentarians such as Shri M. SriBharat ( @sribharatm ) and Captain Brijesh Chowta (@CaptBrijesh ). The report goes beyond interpretation to present an in-depth assessment of how the Budget translates into outcomes for people and enterprises.⁣ We welcome your feedback as we continue this conversation on India’s economic direction and the choices that will shape its future.
