It annoys me to no end when people boil Cartoon Network down to just its original series, when it was never *just* about originals, especially not in its prime (late '90s / early '00s, arguably)

Your account and the review Mr. Enter did on YouTube makes me want to actually watch Dexter again. I haven't seen that show since, like, 2012 when it used to get re-runs on Boomerang.

I've been criticized for drawing him "fat" when that's literally his body type!!
He's always been chubby!

There was a video where Genndy said they drew him tall even though they knew he was supposed to be short and he got squatter as a result of him and the storyboard artists constantly drawing him and it naturally flattened out over time

I’m ngl im really torn on which appeals to me more, I’ve heard criticism of the savino era but I wouldn’t say the later designs look bad, just flatter like games r&s

The reason why Genndy designed him the way he did in the Savino era of the show because that's how him and the rest of the crew keeps drawing him in storyboards making him shorter and shorter because it was more quicker and they think thats what fits the character best
