SDM बने रहने के दौरान वकीलों ने IAS रिंकू सिंह राही के सामने उठक-बैठक और स्टैंड-अप किया, उन्होंने इस्तीफा दे दिया है। शाहजहांपुर में SDM के तौर पर अपनी पहली पोस्टिंग के दौरान उन्होंने एक क्लर्क को खुले में पेशाब करते हुए उठक-बैठक और स्टैंड-अप करवाया था। जब वकीलों ने इसका विरोध किया और तहसील में गंदगी का मुद्दा उठाया, तो रिंकू सिंह राही ने खुद कान पकड़कर उठक-बैठक और स्टैंड-अप करवाया। इस घटना के बाद उन्हें कोई पोस्टिंग नहीं मिली, सिर्फ सैलरी मिलती थी। उन्हें पब्लिक सर्विस का मौका नहीं मिला। यही वह ईमानदारी का उदाहरण पेश करते हुए 100 करोड़ के घोटाले का खुलासा किया था। इसके बाद उन पर हमला हुआ, उन्हें 7 गोलियां लगीं, एक आंख की रोशनी चली गई और चेहरा बुरी तरह बिगड़ गया। इसके बावजूद उन्होंने UPSC पास किया और IAS बन गए। जिन्हें डिपार्टमेंट में होना चाहिए था, उन्हें सरकार ने बाहर रखा और पब्लिक सर्विस का मौका नहीं दिया। पता नहीं कितने भ्रष्ट अधिकारी आराम से बैठे होंगे। रिंकू सिंह दलित समाज से आते हैं इसलिए उनके साथ भेदभाव किया जा रहा है।
