I was looking into Dvo's stats, best I can figure anyway. 50th in scoring for centers. 25th most faceoff wins. Plays in all situations. I think he's been a sold 2C if you add it all up. He was shoehorned into this role and punching above his weight but he's doing it. Bravo

ITs so funny, people doing "gotcha" moments every time the flyers win about Tocchet. "SEE GUESS HES NOT THAT BAD". Then those same dudes focusing solely on the coach then say flyers fans shouldn't focus on michkov/one player all the time. Insanity. Hypocrites. All of them.

I have lost my love of the Flyers over the last decade... and I tried to get into them this year with mixed results But damn.. that was the most fun watching a hockey game I have had in AGES Let's go! 💪💪 #letsgoflyers    p.s. People do not realize how big Flyers hockey used to be to me... been to more Flyers games than Sixers/Eagles combined in my lifetime

@KKurzNHL Proving to be well suited for the role at this point in his career, if healthy. Solid on face offs, solid along the wall, makes good decisions, good checker, PK, solid protecting a lead and manageable ice time for a player his age and mileage.

Got a text yesterday from someone whose opinion I really respect, who said the Isles game was "the best I’ve seen Couturier play in a few years." It is fairly remarkable how he's helped give the Flyers an effective fourth line the last few weeks. Underrated development IMO

@Chase_Senior Chase, you have it correct, except for the part where it’s because he’s an Eagle. The national media has done a heck of a job contributing to that. And most Eagles fans I know, and I’m a 60+ year fan myself, know and appreciate what he’s accomplished. I’m tired of the stereotype.

Balled out at Oklahoma - Second round pick who earned the starting role, has had a winning season every year as a starter and has won 57 regular season games in 5 years - Underdog stories are usually ones that people rally around and root for. If he was the QB for the Tennessee Titans, there's no way he'd be hated and ridiculed like this. It's only because he's the QB of the Philadelphia Eagles. #Eagles

@UncleButsy Since he’s been on the fourth line, it’s been the best fourth line play we’ve been getting in years. He, Coots and whoever has worked. Don’t understand what’s baffling.

It’s crazy to me that Glendenning is a staple in the lineup. I know he’s the only RH center but it’s just baffling to me.

I’m gonna be that guy for the Flyers: This is overall a successful season for the Flyers. I get the Tocchet-Michkov thing and don’t love it, but we’re getting a look at who’s who on this team and playing meaningful games in April is a bonus that will be beneficial going forward

That was a fuckin disgrace and that official needs to hear from the league. It was completely unprofessional and uncalled for. If officials want to be treated with respect, they must treat players with the same respect they expect
