I love what my colleagues at @artefactualsys did for #WDPD2022. It was a good reminder that like food and baking, #DigitalPreservation is best when shared.

Yes, eggs were harmed in the making of this. No, not on purpose. I turned my back for one second without telling him to wait. There were tears after he crushed it in his hands and the box was empty. But he was happy to find we had another box in the cupboard.

It's #WDPD2022! I haven't been active on here much lately, but I had to mark this occasion. I just spent the morning on a school visit in rural Oxfordshire and I was excited to learn that they do coding in class. Maybe I can get some of them excited about digital preservation!

Listening to @max_eckard at #AMCon2021 talk about making technical training of staff a priority at @umichBentley. I love the idea of making technical upskilling of archivists a whole team activity - there's power in peer to peer learning & organisational support in learning.
