🔍 Recently I found a few subscription trackers like mine
👬 I checked them out and instantly I found a couple of differences

🙈 When I was building it I never looked at what others are doing, I wanted to build it however I see it and don't be influenced
❓ Is this a good approach or you better look at the competitors first and try to come up with a differentiator?

During a month, between 600 and 800 products are launched ahah
I mean, if everyone was doing it, it could be boring 😂 but only a tiny tiny fraction of people do it, I'm not sure why 🤷🏻♂️. Not only it gives traffic, but it also refreshes your backlink!

my subscription tracker might never make money, but I like working on it
the REAL reasons for starting this product were:
- to learn how to ship a paywall product with a new tech stack
- to learn SEO, marketing and all that stuff
- to replace my excel sheet tracking all my subs
I hope it all pays off one day - not in terms of money, but in what I have learned from it

Revealing the secret:
I set myself a goal - get a Stripe notification every day of the month!
So I started tracking it:
🔵 day with a subscriber
🟢 new monthly sub
🔴 new yearly sub
No one guessed it exactly, but many were close. The colors were misleading, I know😅
The closest guess (and first to say it) was @justshipwithmat 🥳🙌
