Dept of PMR LHMC celebrated 'World Autism Awareness Day' on 2nd April. Nukkad natak by UG students, poster competition award distribution, blue balloons launched to spread awareness followed by Parent education program on Rehabilitation of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

BCME was organised by Medical Education Unit on 23rd to 25th Mar 2026 at LHMC as per NMC gudelines & under RC-MAMC. Principal LHMC Dr. Anju Seth, NMC observer Dr. Sonal Saxena, MEU cordinator Dr. Ritu Singh, Team MEU & 30 faculty actively participated in 3 day intensive workshop.

The Department of Biochemistry, LHMC, conducted the CME INSPIRON 2026 – Updates in Laboratory Techniques on 25 March 2026. With 120+ registrations and 80+ participants from various medical colleges, the event featured engaging sessions on recent advances in laboratory medicine.

On World Tuberculosis Day, Respiratory Medicine at Lady Hardinge Medical College held OPD awareness, an End TB pledge, and an academic session on TB and National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme, promoting early diagnosis and adherence.

On the occasion of World TB Day the Dept.of Community Medicine LHMC conducted various awareness generation activities like Nukkad Natak and interactive sessions in the field practice area of Kalyanpuri.

1st Institute Research Day at LHMC on Founder’s Day graced by DG ICMR, Dr. Rajiv Bahl, Director LHMC, Dr. Sarita Beri & Principal, Dr. Anju Seth was a great success. Full halls & seamless execution reflected exceptional teamwork. Grateful to all for their support & commitment.

Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology conducted a CME cum workshop on "Essentials in Obstetric Critical Care" on 14th March, 2026. It was well attended by residents and faculty.

On the occasion of World Glaucoma Week, the Department of Ophthalmology, Lady Hardinge Medical College organized a patient awareness talk and a nukkad natak to spread awareness about glaucoma. Early detection can save sight.

SLM (Time & Stress Management subgroup) conducted workshop on "AI for Medical Professionals". It highlighted how AI may be used to complement, not replace, critical clinical thinking & scientific rigor. Interactive sensitization on use as well as risks of AI was well received.

On occasion of World Glaucoma Week 2026, Dept of Ophthalmology hosted guest lecture “Congenital Glaucoma – When Rarity Meets Responsibility” by renowned glaucoma specialist Dr Anil Kumar Mandal, highlighting early diagnosis & advancing care. #WorldGlaucomaWeek #GlaucomaAwareness

International Women’s Day was celebrated at Yoga OPD by Dept of Physiology, LHMC & CCYRN with shared commitment to women’s health & well-being. Session highlighted importance of yoga, natural therapies & holistic lifestyle practices in empowering women to lead healthier lives.

Dept of Obstetrics & Gynecology organized CME on Storage Disorders of Lower Urinary Tract on 05.03.2026 under mentorship of HOD Dr Ratna & Dr Muntaha as organizing secretary. Scientific deleberations brought clear understanding on the evaluation & management of this condition.

Workshop & Hands-on Training of Robotic surgery on simulators and Knotting & Suturing (open modules and endotrainers) was conducted from 28th to 31st Jan 2026 by the Dept of Obstt and Gynae.

LHMC E-News was officially launched by Dr. Sunita Sharma Ma’am, DGHS, MoHFW in the presence of august gathering led by Director LHMC Dr. Sarita Beri, Principal Dr. Anju Seth, MS, AMS & faculties marking a key step in strengthening institutional communication & academic outreach.

Public forum on occassion of World Cancer Day was organized by Dept. of Obs & Gyn. MS Dr. Manoj Jais and Addnl MS graced the occasion. Talks on breast & cervical cancer screening & prevention delivered by residents along with role-play on importance of screening.

As part of TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan an interactive session with MCD School children in Block 12 Kalyanpuri was conducted to raise awareness regarding TB Disease and it's determinants by the Faculty, Residents & Interns posted at UHC Kalyanpuri on 2nd February 2026.

LHMC celebrated 77th Republic Day with ceremonial march past & flag unfurling by Dr Sarita Beri, Director followed by vibrant cultural programme & Best Employee Award distribution. Event saw enthusiastic participation from faculty, students & staff of LHMC & Associated Hospitals.

An integrated health camp was organised on 06.01.2026 by Dept of Community Medicine, LHMC in collaboration with DSACs & Shyama Prasad TB Hospital at UHC Kalyanpuri. More than 120 beneficiaries were screened for HIV, Hep-B & C, Pulmonary TB, Mental health, Blood Pressure & Sugar
