Storm is controlling thermal energy at a system level, not just “making ice.” She’s actively removing heat from the environment and locking it into a stable state, making the ice extremely difficult to undo. Even Iceman admits: He’s better at taking heat out (cooling/freezing) But adding heat back in (melting) against Storm is hard because she’s continuously maintaining the energy balance. Storm isn’t just freezing things, she’s controlling the energy state itself, making it extremely hard for anyone else to reverse it.
