@dairycalz The poll was never a natural one, due to the winner being promised a one shot. People voted for characters they wanted to learn more about, that had little to no screentime. Thats why people like sakumo and shisui are so high.

@akkowuzhere The "over stay welcome" part is how I feel about litterally every arc monthly, but then I reread and realize how short they all feel. It's my main issue with monthly.

People who are jumping them for this clearly are misunderstanding the point, but I do understand both sides. Gonna be a long tweet, but hear me out: On one hand, NNG seemed to have a very clear direction of where things were headed and so it made the overarching plot easier to follow even though some plot twists caught us off guard, but then again, thats exactly why those plot twists worked so well. We thought we had an idea of where the overarching plot would go and then something would happen and change it to keep us hooked, and it would not just change the overarching plot, but expand on the consequences of that change. With TBV, I genuinely cannot tell you what the overarching story would be aside from that Boruto is trying to stop the "worst possible fate" which at best as far as we know, is everyone dying. We dont really have a clear direction of where the story is headed and we have to keep guessing every month which might throw some people off. All we know is that the future is bad and boruto is trying to stop it and if something goes wrong then everyone dies, but theres just so many untouched plot threads in the background that sometimes it might seem like theyve been forgotten about or left to the wayside in favor of action chapters, which isnt exactly a bad thing because i dont mind waiting for the payoff, but not everyone is like that. Not only that, but NNG established a large amount of LORE. Stuff with the otsutsuki and their hideout and the history of karma and how it works. It added a rich history to a world that was already full of it, and so far, TBV has hardly expanded on any of it because there just hasnt been any time. Something we need to remember though is that TBV is still very much in its early stages, and the lore stuff WILL come. Its simply a matter of being patient and waiting for the story to develop and payoff things that were mentioned a long time ago. The monthly schedule might make it feel like things are dragging and honestly i think the mamushi stuff is beginning to overstay its welcome, but at the end of the day, i know the payoffs will come and that the story will progress. TBV is a sequel manga that has to payoff things not yet touched upon from the NNG manga, as well as establishing its own story flow, its just too early to tell 🤷‍♂️

@freshwinepapi @Aizawa_aiminn Ik there is, but imo it's just not at the level of the first 30 chaps of nng, Nor the sand arc in shippuden.

Story wise nng is better than tbv

Boruto looks a bit off in the art, but i'm glad they slimmed the face in the figure. It looks amazing, and it might be the only boruto figure we get with ikemotos design.

Depends on the arc. With War Arc feats, even excluding DMS, he’d be at the top. Up to the Pain Arc, I’d say Obito Pain Itachi Kakashi etc…
