BREAKING: To cause fear and horror among the people in Tehran, the capital city of Iran, the Israelis are now randomly bombing residential buildings. They used to target buildings suspected of housing government or military officials of the regime—now they are bombing randomly. This is exactly what Saddam Hussein was doing to Iran during the Iran–Iraq War. This is a sign of desperation by Netanyahu and his bloodthirsty Katz. #OperationEpicFury #OperationLionsRoar

Alarming! #Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) in Tehran, founded in 1929, was struck in an Israeli attack at 2:30 a.m. (local). Under international humanitarian law, universities are civilian objects & must not be targeted. Dangerous trend.

2000lb bombs are not meant for crowded residential areas. They wipe out everything and everyone within multiple football fields of the blast. But Israel normalized their use in Gaza and now does it again in Iran. War crime upon war crime.
Mohammad Ali Shabani@mashabani

Israel is dropping 2,000lb bombs in residential districts in Tehran. "40-50 people" killed in a single strike, local authorities and residents told BBC. The Israeli military says 3,600 bombs dropped on the Iranian capital alone. bbc.com/news/articles/…

Whether it caused leakage or not, striking nuclear facilities is irresponsible & dangerous. This facility posed no immediate risk. Allowing the norm against targeting nuclear sites to erode has profound consequences that extend far beyond Iran.

“The challenge is not persuading Iran to stop fighting. It is ensuring that, when it does, the region is not left vulnerable to the same dynamics that made the war possible in the first place.” This includes making sure that Iran does not attack, or be attacked by, others.

These students are the reason to have hope for a better future. Today they elegantly showed developmental impacts of the war in Iran, how it is deteriorating the quality of life for Iranians instead of bringing freedom, & how political leaders/activists fail to learn from past.

Whatever your view of Iran, this war is not of their making. This is already causing widespread economic problems and I fear they promise to get much worse if the war continues. Oman is working intensively to put in place safe passage arrangements for the Strait of Hormuz.

Waging war on civilians will not bring US victory in this war. It will convince Iranians that this is not a war on the Islamic Republic but one that is aimed at destroying their country and their lives.
Furkan Gözükara@FurkanGozukara

CNN reports Israel is dropping massive bombs directly on residential buildings in eastern Tehran. The blasts are so powerful they are leveling entire apartment blocks and severely damaging surrounding civilian neighborhoods. Absolute war crimes.

It should be said—loudly, by many people—that the indiscriminate destruction of civilian infrastructure is a war crime. There is no way around this.
