Saddened to hear of Leo Ledohowski’s passing — a great business leader in Manitoba and a trailblazer in Canada’s hospitality industry. A generous community builder whose impact will be felt for generations. My thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.

Winning here, in Ukraine, in this confrontation with Russian terror, is a matter of survival for democratic systems, if democracies are worth anything at all. When we defend ourselves, we can ensure that no other international criminal is tempted to launch an aggression like Putin. We can and must protect life.

It’s difficult to even say whose contribution to European and Euro-Atlantic security is greater than that of our warriors who defend freedom with their lives. I’m grateful to all partners who support us in this. 🇺🇦 did everything to ensure the approval of our NATO application.
