Not harsh enough Not only are these movies a genuinely bad adaptation, but they're badly made, poorly written, badly paced, and have cheap effects. If you watch then again, you'll notice that 90% of the dialogue is meaningless and the characters are constantly just poster posing

I know people have dog walked this movie for a variety of reasons, but speaking as someone who really doesnt give a shit about Star Wars lore as a whole, its just objectively a poorly made movie that completely dropped the ball on a huge franchise

The only one that I would classify as "Abysmal Dog Shit" would be The Last Jedi Its one of the most disjointed wrecks I have ever seen The characters are poorly written and have bad dialogue None of the plot points really make sense past a casual glance Etc etc

New show idea: Reverse copaganda where it follows a police precinct as they really are They arrest innocents, racially profile people, work as guns for hire of the state, etc None of the characters are likeable and the cases constantly get fucked up through incompetence

@kendrictonn Chronicles of Amber vol.1 & 2 by Roger Zelazny are good, quick reads if you havent checked it out The Warlock series by Christopher Stasheff is also really good, and both Sci-Fi and Fantasy together

So ive been rewatching the Star Wars prequels recently, first time in like 15 years Gotta say, Ahmed Best did not deserve the level of hate he got. Jar Jar is mildly annoying, and the Gungans are a choice, but its like 20 or 30 minutes of screentime that isnt really negative 1/2

The movie itself suffers from god awful pacing and just the most dogshit editing ive seen (apart from Attack of the Clones), but Ahmed Best and Jake Lloyd did not deserve what dick head fans gave them We're Ahmed Best/Jake Lloyd stans in this house 2/2
