@soundcloud took down my entire discography from platforms from the past 10 years because i didn’t pay for pro even tho i was approved for their platform back when it was free (repost network) you had to meet certain steaming requirements to use it. no warning. no email.

Good to keep in mind. Some songs get to people and some don’t, it’s frustrating but you can’t beat yourself up for it. algorithms aren’t kind to most. it’s an uphill battle but it’s worth persevering regardless of numbers, I’m super thankful for my few songs that have reached ppl

one thing about being an “underground” rapper is when you release stuff it takes awhile for ur fans to find it sometimes. It’s not like being signed where they get served reminders subtly from everywhere, fans forget you announce stuff all the time.
