Trump has issued an executive order demanding that no other college football games be staged head-to-head with the annual Army–Navy match-up. I believe most American football fans respect the Army–Navy tradition, whether they actually watch it or not. I typically do, and it is a fine American pastime well worth preserving, by all means. What I do not think is that we require an EO — nor am I at all certain how such a thing would even be enforced were any party inclined to defy it — in order to safeguard that tradition.
