@Oceesay What a view! What a wonderful way to reset. I’ll be too distracted by the view to do any productive thinking😄.

@kemo_bojang Love this!TVET is great, but let’s map it against the market. What are our priorities now, and in the future? What’s the global outlook? How do we prepare our youth to compete locally and globally?Emphasis on lifelong learning, reskilling, and transferable skills like problemsolving

Perspectives I understand, but Gando is up to something. I wouldn’t say mandatory military service, but TEVET should be mandatory in high schools, or at least a year after high school. A nation that produces is a competing nation. If you don’t produce, you can't bargain.

I think Gambia should make it mandatory for every citizen to serve in the military for at least one year. There's a lot of young people out here being absolutely useless with no discipline whatsoever @BarrowPresident

To be clear elections alone do not bring about change. Keep in mind that the effectiveness of elections in bringing about meaningful change depends on factors like the broader democratic context, electoral integrity, leadership quality, the role of civil society and media #Gambia

There’s a rich tapestry of youth movement in the Gambia and surrounding regions that have shaped their political landscapes. I’m very interested in these movements and groups. #ComingSoon #YouthActivism

Young people have always played a crucial role in shaping history, especially during periods of political tension and upheaval. Youth groups have mobilized against injustice, often risking their lives to advocate for change. Youth activism is a potent rallying point globally.

Who are the beneficiaries of the leftover-if there is anything left over? Greed is killing us. It has been killing is. We have become members of the fraternity of the Greedy Ones.

2 years ago, Alasan Ann, a 🇬🇲-🇺🇸 citizen came forward to rep. the Gambia in Taekwondo. After a few fights for 🇬🇲, yesterday he qualified for Olympic @Paris2024-a dream for him, & success for 🇬🇲. Congrats to Ann & his coaches for this achievement. Thanks @DrKebbeh for the support.

The political immaturity of a people can have an impact on the development trajectory of the country. We may not control the past, but we write the future. Time to help people break free from political immaturity & build a country worthy of our dreams. #EmpowerThePeople
