A student today came to school today dejected because something happened before he arrived. As he was reflecting, he said, “I wish my mom noticed how upset I was.” And then he continued, “But at least my teacher did.” What you do matters.

It all comes down to relationships. Without trust there is no relationship. Without relationships no real learning occurs.
