@p_historians @DocCrom @antmoose @romanmosaics Entire chickens are placed on the guests' silver salvers, guests' clothing alternates between full formal dress and semi-nakedness, one of the semi-naked guests is swigging out of the silver serving jug, the perspective is seriously shot and as for the unswept floor...

#MosaicMonday This C5th CE mosaic depicts an unswept floor scene at a banquet. Diners recline in a triclinium and its appears they may be some hours into their revels while attended by slaves. 📍Chateau de Boudry
