Hey everyone, just wanted to drop the summary of the latest @kaidrochronicle Founders Update. So in short, next year will be as active as 2024 if not more active and a lot will happen. Robert and Peggy said it this time again that it only got so quiet because of the publisher deals that were in the making. There is no such case like Kaidro in the crypto space that this could be compared to since most other projects are simply a game and an ecosystem surounding it. Here we have an IP that is advancing into new teritories with third parties and contracts involved, thats why if you look at everything from a pure crypto project perspective, things seem slow. In 2026 the focus is on releases, marketing, growth, working with the publishers and of course giving usecases for the Kaidro NFTs and $KDR The book publisher deal is signed. Books will be available in pysical Locations like Barnes and Nobles, Target, Wallmart, etc, this way the Kaidro IP becomes a lot more visible. The game publisher deal is not yet signed but going forward, there were 2 publishers interested but the team has now decided on one and is going forward with that, Peggy and Robert already got the contract. In January there will be major announcements. First of all the announcement of the book publisher, which is one of the 5 top publishers worldwide. This deal will also be connected to the making of the Anime, (more infos about that at a later time). The second announcement will be, the name of the game publisher, details of the deal and how we are going forward. We will have a last Beta Gametest in in mid Q1, before the official release. The game will be initially released for PC and Playstation probably around mid of Q2, with mobile following a bit after (mobile isnt dropped, the game is still fully ready for it). With the full game release usecases for $KDR will be clear and added (more talks about tokenomics will follow as we approach full game release). In the second half of the year, Peggy and Robert will be traveling a lot, San Diego Comic-Con, New York Comic-Con, etc to promote the Kaidro books and Kaidro as a whole IP. There will be more Kaidro merch this year (Bob plushie incoming). The production companie associated with the book publisher liked the idea of a Kaidro movie (the series has priority tho). Community Questions Question: Is there an update on Book 5 for the Kaidro webtoons? Answer: The development of book 5 had started already, so the layouts and everything is done already, but it is paused currently to get book 1-3 ready for the hardback release with the new publisher. Question: Are the current books now ‘1st edition’ or something similar? Also is the story line changing as was previously the plan with the anime, or will they be the same stories? Answer: Yeah the current books will be a rarity because none will be printed anymore and since the ones coming next year will be hard backs and will be a bit different, with special pages not seen in the current books (story still the same). The Anime will follow a different story line so that your NFTs can be included in it. Question: The game for pc and playstation will it still be web3? Answer: Yes the game will still be web3 as it currently is via the website (more features will be added as usecases are added), this way it can be interacted with purely web2 style or with benefits in web3 style. Even the book publisher is cool with that and likes the idea. Question: Early this year there were plans for a production system where we could use KDR, NFTs, and USDC to be part of the equity of the IP. Is that product still continuing, or is there something similar? Answer: Something like this is still planned yeah but now that so many things changed, it has to be reworked. Question: What about book 4? Did you guys print any or will that only be with the new publisher Answer: There was a kickstarter planned for this, but this is now dropped and it will be released under the new publisher.
