I've been solely hacking away at the API for @DroptuneApp. Needed a change of pace so started prototyping.
Really going for a "native Apple app" that feels right at home with the Music app.

Building stuff with other people is more fun, but hard to do it just on fun projects. Certainly sometimes the stars align and people are able to start building stuff together for kicks. But it's just so rare that it works out and everyone's expectations pan out.

I'm reviving @DroptuneApp!
Previously was focused just on new music notifications (and it worked pretty darn well). Now, you'll be able to stay on top of new music, videos, concerts, merch and news!
Going to build it as a native iOS app. May the odds be ever in my favor. 🎵🎉

This is live! Works best in desktop browsers (especially the actual music player), but hot DOG does it make listening to and adding new music faster!

Just rolled out a big update to the Droptune design!

@TylerH Yes! Though I (@shpigford) am in the middle of a full redesign and code rewrite.
Apple Music support isn’t currently working, but Spotify support should still be there.

@DroptuneApp by @Shpigford is so much better than any other music discovery service I've used. Amazing that one person's side project can beat spotify/apple/etc.
