Due to the ongoing pandemic we have taken the difficult decision to not have an event this year. This gives us time to focus on 2022 making it bigger and better when we can hopefully be all back together #Drupal
@jpoesen Hey, thanks, been caught up with life generally, we'll get it sorted.
No news on the next camp yet, venues either aren't taking bookings or changing through the roof atm.
This #VolunteersWeek, we are continuing to highlight the amazing work of our Special Constables and Volunteers. At the weekend, they were helping our colleagues at @SurreyFRS, using the drone to assist in giving instructions to evacuate the area.
[3/4] The drone team also were able to locate someone on the who had threatened self harm. We were able to quickly search a rural area, locating the person, and guide units to them. Since the crisis began, Surrey SCs have given of 7.5k hrs.
[1/2] A huge "thank you" to our SCs. Over the Easter long w/e, Surrey Special Constables gave 1,005 hours to support the #NHS, our regular colleagues and Surrey's local communities…
[2/2] … This represents 104 separate duties covering a range of tasks including welfare checks on the more vulnerable members of our communities, ensuring social distancing adherence, along with all the 'usual' day-to-day policing which still continues.

@rslootjes@Geewiz@rachel_norfolk Sorry! This was all sorted last min and we did miss some things. We had limited zoom accounts and did the best we could. Next year we'll be offering remotes sessions alongside our in person sessions as well.
