Men in technical fields: When asked to speak on a panel, please routinely ask: Will the panel have any diversity? Will there be women? People of color? Others? Maybe not. But will you consider asking?

At an artificial intelligence panel tonight. All male panel. Aren't there women working in this area? Yes. The conference hosted by @SASsoftware, @UNC research computing, and @nvidia this past fall had a good number of women speakers.
