For my wife Sam’s 50th birthday we ran the Rim to Rim to Rim in the Grand Canyon. That’s from the South Rim to the Colorado River at the bottom to the North Rim and Back. 48 miles, 12,000 ft down and 12,000 elevation up, took 18 hours.
