Hill sprints are starting to look like hill SPRINTS again! So grateful I GET to do this.
You can live life with a “get to” mentality or a “got to” mentality—the choice is yours every day. Since last summer, I’ve gained so much gratitude for the things I GET to do again. When everything is taken from you and you can’t do anything under your own power, you realize just how much you took for granted.
For me: coaching practice, playing in the yard with my kids, watching them compete in sports—even doing hill sprints.
It wasn’t that long ago that I wouldn’t have been able to walk up that hill. Now, by the grace of God and the willpower to grind every day, I’m back to sprinting.
Stop taking things for granted and appreciate the things we GET to do.

Also from Wisconsin. For me the "Up North" boundary is venerable US Highway 8. Two completely different worlds exist on each side of that road.

On March 19, 1950, St. Croix Falls (population of about 1,000) became the 2nd smallest town to win the WIAA one-class boys basketball state championship after beating much larger Eau Claire, 59-35.
1946 state champion, Reedsville (pop. 476), was the smallest.

The official docked Princeton a team point for this “headgear toss” following Rocco Camillaci’s win at 157 lbs. The dual ultimately ended 20–19 in Rider’s favor, with that single point proving decisive. Princeton would have won the dual on criteria otherwise. I understand the rule, but at this level, in that moment, it’s worth asking: should that be called? Curious to hear thoughts from coaches, officials, and fans- especially on consistency and discretion in these situations.
