I feel best on OMAD with mainly red meat and minimal vegetables.
Have severe UC and since starting on that I feel amazing. More energy and better focus.
I had a blood test and my creatinine was high, doctor prescribed something, didn’t take it.
I fasted 7 days (water and electrolytes only) then stayed on OMAD.
egfr is a 51 and creatinine is still high. I don’t feel dehydrated and urine is fine, never had kidney stones.
I think my diet is skewing the results. I was taking NSAIDs (Perscribed celecoxib) for inflammation in my back. Have stopped that to see if contributed to the low egfr.
I don’t have any prior markers to go off of is the problem.

As an experiment in December-I added 150-200gm a day of carbohydrates to my carnivore diet, primarily from whole unprocessed foods such as fruit
Results-I gained 10 lbs, my athletic performance did not improve at all, I started snoring and I developed mild proximal biceps tendinitis and some GERD
Went back to carnivore and already feeling much better
At nearly 60, I do better without carbs!
