The angels are going to be bad for a very long time because of how they mishandled 2023 Not only did they not trade Ohtani for a haul, they pushed their spending over luxury tax, then doubled down by completely gutting an abysmal farm system for bad players at the trade deadline After falling out contention they now just waived a majority of said players acquired at the deadline for “salary relief” This is a sad organization. Arte will likely offer Shohei Ohtani $600M this offseason and if he accepts or declines this team is still pretty fucked We have a bad major league roster, a bad farm system, a bad dev system, a bad owner, and a gm under major supervision by ownership who also may be poor at his job Being an angels fan is miserable.
