Blazers season comes to an end with a 6-2 loss in game four. Great start, couldn't maintain the level. Kelowna played a great series. Physical, blocked shots. Top players were their top players. Harrison Boettiger excellent in goal. Post-game show on the way @RadioNLNews

All the talent has left Canada. What in the hell would you call this performance at the Juno awards?

@GeorgeNyongesa @DylanEdmonstone @SplashNews I can’t take you seriously if you can’t even form your own argument without the use of AI. I’m flagging YOU for hate speech citing Bill C9. This is AI Christofascist propaganda and goes against my beliefs. Reported. Fucking idiotic retard. Shame.

Banning or effectively criminalizing references to the Bible, one of humanity’s oldest and most influential texts, strikes me as profoundly retrogressive. A source is cited for its epistemic value. Any book should be read and rejected only on account of it's uselessness to reality. The Bible is one of the oldest texts humanity has. It has epistemic value in many areas of human life and has been fundamental to many ideas of the Renaissance, Enlightenment, and Age of Reason. For centuries, this ancient collection of writings shaped Western moral philosophy, human rights concepts, literature, art, and the very foundations of liberal democracy. Figures from Michelangelo and Shakespeare to Locke, Newton, and the American Founders drew deeply from its ideas about human dignity, justice, and truth-seeking. Dismissing engagement with such a cornerstone of civilization, under the guise of “combatting hate,” risks erasing a vital part of our shared intellectual heritage. Canada’s Bill C-9 removes the long-standing “good faith” religious defense from hate speech provisions in the Criminal Code. While the bill targets willful promotion of hatred and terror symbols, critics rightly worry that stripping this explicit protection could expose everyday religious teaching, preaching, or quoting of scripture (on topics like sexuality, marriage, or sin) to subjective prosecution. This is worrisome especially given past parliamentary comments labeling certain biblical passages as “clearly hateful.” True progress doesn’t come from insulating modern sensitivities from history’s greatest texts; it comes from robust debate, contextual understanding, and confidence in reason. Canadians are not stupid, they come from traditions of rationality, the very spirit the Enlightenment inherited in part from biblical humanism. Retrogressing toward state oversight of ancient religious expression sets a dangerous precedent, not just for Christians, but for anyone who values intellectual freedom and civilizational continuity. We should protect people from genuine incitement to violence without turning the Bible itself into a prosecutable offense in good-faith discussion. Canada’s tradition of religious liberty deserves better.

At the end of the day, I’m a little disappointed a Dman and/or Coleman weren’t moved, but I’m also very happy that Kadri was traded. It was a whirlwind day lol

I’m hearing rumours that the Habs may be willing to give up Lane Hutson or Ivan Demidov in a trade for Flyers Defender Rasmus Ristolainen. Seems like the Canadiens are actively shopping for an elite playoff proven defensive defenseman like Risto. #GoHabsGo

"The bet" round two results are in. JP Hurlbert & Ryan Michael on the 🥇game. Ryan Michael unfortunately lost. He was forced to jog a mile in the neighbourhood (Batchelor Heights) wearing a Team USA bomber jacket while JP blasted "God Bless America" on a speaker. Photo coming...

Blazers JP Hurlbert 🇺🇸 told me last night there was a bet made with a few of his 🇨🇦 teammates on the 🥇. Not sure exactly what it was, but keep in mind JP honoured his side in a World Jr. bet earlier this year.

There hasn't been a WHL tiebreaker game since 2019 on a memorable Tuesday evening in Kamloops. Could we see one this year? The East - Reg, MJ, RD in a battle 7-8-9 The West - 6-10th separated by 9 pts. There's talk of change, but I'd love to see the tiebreaker format continue.

Don't forget how close we came to hanging this loss on Sam Bennett, as well as what could have happened in the Finland game. This is why you shouldn't bring hot-headed, reckless players to one-and-done tournaments.
