The strike in Glasgow today, week 53. #ClimateStrike

For this #SYPReducePollution action day I’ll be striking for the climate. Today is my 53rd week, and 1 year mark of fighting for the planet.

Why is there so little critique of @theCCCuk ‘net-zero’ report by academics &the wider climate community? It is designed to fit with the current political & economic status quo,& in so doing proposes cuts in CO2 far smaller than those needed to meet our Paris 1.5-2°C commitments!

I have submitted a motion with @erin_c114 for SYP71 on the school strikes for climate! Hoping it gets picked for debate as this is a serious topic for young people all around the world
