The selection of food varies weekly. 1 service number per family/household. We ask that you only take what you need and will use. Service numbers are first handed out at 9:00am. (Food service is not available on Fridays that observe federal holidays.)

Next #Friday [and every Friday] - free food available to anyone who comes to the Melrose Branch Library in Oakland, CA by 12:30pm. ***There are no qualification checks or requirements to get food. The selection of food varies weekly. 1 service number per family/household.

Last week it was a bright & sunny day! Our #volunteers helped us serve 118 households! That means 503 people were fed and approximately 2,700 pounds of food & supplies were given away because of the dedication our volunteers have. #Oakland #EndHunger #ZeroHunger

We want to hear from you! If you see #EDFU anywhere let us record your stories & experiences. We especially want to document statements and speeches that are ignored. We created this series during the 2nd session of #PFPAD. A lot of people were unable to give their statements.
