@queru_lant Super g‘macht. An meiner CHF 1,84…vorm Krieg waren‘s doch CHF 1,55.

@eurofounder You forgot about the diversity tax contribution and the CO2 tax contribution to fight the climate change. You’re such an amateur. Obviously no cars bought yet in Germany.

Things you need to do before buying a car in Germany: 1. Register your intent to purchase at the vehicle registration office 2. Obtain proof of parking from your landlord (notarized) 3. Submit your last 3 tax returns to prove you can afford insurance 4. Get written approval from your building manager that the car fits in the garage 5. Apply for emissions certificate 6. Schedule a safety inspection 7. Pay car tax in advance In America anyone can just buy a car, no wonder they are terrible drivers

My colleague Bernhardt moved to California and won't shut up about his $14,000 monthly salary I told him I earn €1,500 a month and it's still more than he does He laughed, so I broke it down for him: €1,500 - my net salary + €4,000 - free healthcare + €3,000 - diverse, multi-cultural society + €2,500 - 30 vacation days + €2,000 - no school shootings + €1,500 - strong privacy laws + €1,000 - excellent public transport That's over €15,000 a month He immediatly went quiet European salaries are the highest in the world when you adjust for quality of life

I have been living in South America for 7 months now. What I’ve found (pros and cons—from Paraguay, Brasil, Argentina) The Pros: 1. Most people are super friendly. 2. Even though most have less money than back home in the UK, countries feel a lot happier. 3. Argentinians are crazy passionate about everything, and I f**king love it. 4. The food is 10x better than back home 5. The food is 10x cheaper than back home 6. The weather is 10x better than back home 7. The women are 10x better looking than back home 8. There is 10x less woke bullshit than back home 9. The nature is ABSOLUTELY stunning (especially Patagonia) 10. People are a lot more proud of their country—which is great to see 11. You can become a resident of Paraguay and pay next-to-no-tax, and Asuncion is a cool place if you want to build in peace The Cons: 1. Latin culture is a special type of crazy 2. Expect everything and everyone to be late 3. Like really, late 4. Nothing seems to work the way it should (and yet everything clicks together) 5. You gotta learn Spanish (to me, this is a massive pro, but I have seen many gringos fall apart) 6. You can’t really use Amazon. I really miss Amazon. 7. You can’t be stupid, or you will eventually get robbed (talking from personal experience) 8. You have to pretend you miss the UK when you call friends because you don’t want to rub it in how good life is here All in all, would highly recommend.

@eurofounder Your sister isn’t mainstream. That’s why she goes against the current. Just hope she doesn’t go the same way about her taxes or GDPR compliance. That would be scandalous

My sister is having a baby boy soon Last night over dinner she said they still haven't picked a name "What about Mohammed?" I suggested "What?" "It's a beautiful European name with deep roots in our culture" "I don't think I like it..." my sister mumbled "You don't like it? Just say you're racist" I shouted In Europe we celebrate all cultures equally If she can't even consider Mohammed then she doesn't deserve to raise a European child This is exactly how intolerance starts

@eurofounder What I’m missing is the fact you omitted to admit family loan tax including diversity surcharge of total 127% on the interest earned. You better think about it next time, otherwise I’m obliged to contact your tax authorities. Not to mention your loan must be GDPR compliant.

My brother called me today He needed €500 for his little son surgery “Of course, we’re a family” I said Then, I sent him a loan agreement, with 5.3% interest, and 12-month repayment schedule “Are you serious, my son is in the hospital now” he called me back angry I told him the European Central Bank doesn’t lend without terms, and neither do I He hung up and borrowed from our mother instead She didn’t even ask for collateral That woman has zero financial literacy You can’t just give out loans without proper documentation

I had to fire my best engineer yesterday On Monday I asked him to work on a feature I estimated at least 8 weeks of work Tuesday morning he messages me: "done" I thought he was joking, but the feature worked perfectly "How did you manage to do it so fast?" I asked him "Oh I just used ChatGPT and Claude" "You did fucking what?!" I screamed Our company data, sent to American servers I called legal and HR into the room immediately He was terminated within the hour Then I deleted the entire feature from our website We will rebuild it from scratch, without using any AI No wonder 90% of American startups fail if they cut corners like this

My cousin Dietrich is one of the best paid engineers in Germany He makes €41,000 a year before tax Last week he got an offer from a big tech company in the US that would net him $350,000 "Are you going to take it?" I asked him "It's a good offer, but I would actually earn less than now" He is right. In Europe, he makes €41,000 and gets: - Free healthcare - Strong privacy protections - Diversity - Pension benefits If you count this in, it's much more than $350,000 European salaries are the highest in the world if you adjust for quality of life

@eurofounder Pay your fair share for your fellow family member, Matthias! If you want to be an upstanding citizen, I recommend you paying housing, allowance, insurance and obviously taxes for him. Not to mention fees for his residency.

I came home early from a business trip and found my wife in bed with another man “Who is he?!” I screamed “Baby, I’m sorry, I met him on holidays in Morocco” “Morocco? How long has this been going on?” I asked She said 6 months I nearly collapsed If that man was visiting us for over 183 days, he qualifies as a German tax resident I called my accountant right away He said this is the worst case of unreported residency he’s seen in 45 years I knew my wife was a whore, but never imagined she could sleep with a tax evader

My 19yo daughter recently taught herself to code She has built an app that went very viral Over 200,000 downloads in a week "Papa, I need to postpone going to university" she said Her eyes were glowing. I'd never seen her like this "This app really has potential, it can be a big business" It was clear she went completely insane A female, without a degree, trying to build a company What can go wrong? "Over my dead body" I mumbled to myself That night after she went to sleep I logged into her laptop and deleted the entire platform I felt horrible, but I knew I'm protecting my daughter Let's be honest, a young woman without a degree cannot possibly run a company She's back at school now studying public administration When she finishes, she can apply a position at the municipality earning up to €36,000 a year For a woman that is an excellent career Feels good to save my daughter's future

@compliantvc It’s too much money. I think it should be taxed heavily - at 99% or even more. If I were 45 and loved European taxation, I’d definitely apply. GDPR is the cornerstone of the European progress.
