It can feel like issues such as cosmetic animal testings are out within our reach and cannot be helped. But consumers are able to voice their opinion by controlling where their money is spent. Supporting cruelty-free brands demonstrates to other cosmetic companies what we value.

Current day education is within a digital revolution. This has resulted in a growing need for high digital literacy among students. Information can now be presented using multiple sources and it is up to us as students to adapt and interpret these many sources. #EM203Robin

@EM203gpusitz Yes! Hearing from varying different perspectives from a wide range of personalities and characters is one of the positives of using social media within this course! The discussion boards and the tweets have allowed for more voices to be heard.

@EM203KStrauss In my experience, technology and social media have only been seen as a distraction in the classroom. While I agree to some extent, I think that this can be shifted to further enhance our learning experience!

Other University courses discourage the use of social media and technology while in class but #EM203Robin embraces it! Our world today revolves around technology and it is nice to have a course that teaches me how to embrace it as a learning tool.
